PROJECT INFO
CODE type is an original modular typeface born from a personal frustration with digital passwords and cybersecurity. Inspired by Chinese moveable type, and the growing tension between virtual and physical experiences, the project explores what it means to bring a digital letterform into the real world. Designed around three principles — simple, playful, and symbolic — Code Type was applied across posters, 3D-printed block sets, sticker tape, and AR interactions on Instagram and Facebook, blurring the boundary between screen-based design and tangible, everyday objects.
